Spatial Organization
We develop and implement creative solutions to the spatial challenges in an office, workshop or outreach space. We provide space-use evaluations, floor plan development and education on spatial efficiency. In doing so we can create a more functional, cost-effective and easy-to-use space for an organization’s volunteers and stakeholders as well as its clients and community.
Program and Product Development
We assist in the development and implementation of new services, products and programs from initial concept through to implementation. Evaluating an organization allows us to develop new solutions, both tangible and intangible, to boost output and increase staff and volunteer satisfaction. This is one of the areas where our team’s use of human-centered design research has the most impact.
Volunteer Management
Assessing current volunteer roles and needs often reveals opportunities for design. This can be applied to scheduling, recruitment strategy and improved support for coordinators. Whether developing intake processes or training protocol, we will work with you to provide volunteers with a more enjoyable experience and commitment to the organization.
Service Design
Ensuring a system or service runs smoothly day in and day out can be one of the largest and most difficult challenges for any organization. We use design to create or improve existing internal services, strategy and infrastructure to better match the communities’ needs. We work with you to make operations more effective, efficient and possibly identify new opportunities for growth.
